Elizabeth Ferry, MSc student in our lab, has qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship, taking place in Nice, France, on September 12.

At Ironman 70.3 Mont-Tremblant on June 21, Elizabeth completed the 1.9 km swim, 90 km bike, and 21.1 km run in 4:58:52, finishing 2nd in her age group and earning her spot for Nice.
Her master’s research examines the factors that influence exogenous carbohydrate oxidation during prolonged exercise. Endurance science, lived from the inside.
